Chudleigh – Retaining Wall Package

Groundworks, Steel fixing, Concreting, shuttering carpentry, formwork.

D & P Reinforcements undertook a retaining wall package on behalf of K&J Hodge in Chudleigh, Devon. This included the enabling groundworks, blinding, steel fixing, reinforced concrete base and reinforced concrete wall. The wall itself varied in direction and height which made for a challenging project at times. In total the wall is over 100m long and reaches heights of 3.4m.

We utilized our own equipment for enabling groundworks, lifting, and placement of the shutter pans. Our 13-tonne Hitachi and our 8-tonne Kubota excavator paired perfectly with the minimal working space we had at times.
